Personal background
Hey guys and gals!

New to the SETI@Home forums, but like to try new sorts of stuff.

I have been into science for ages now and like to help out wherever I can. I work in a laboratory. The pay is rubbish, but the experience is good! I have a good education in science and particularly astrophysics. Unfortunately circumstances meant I will never be able to follow my calling in life - to work in physics or astronomy... :-(

I am 26, live in Coventry, England and am sort of in a relationship with a girl in Ukraine. 1,000 miles is a long way to have a meaningful relationship but we try!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been using SETI@home for a long time. I must admit, I had 2 years off at one point. I think I may still have some stand-alone installers backed up somewhere!!! :-0

I think the project is a very good idea and thumbs up to the whole team! I think it was a brave gamble that paid off. Would like to congratulate Seth Shostak who got the planet motivated into the Search!
