Hi, i'm Raffaello, 25 and i'm from Genoa (ITALY).
Perhaps Genoa is the most beatiful city in the world, and i've dedicated it a seti team.
I'm a web graphic and developer.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that is not possible we are alone in universe.
The universe is too big for us Terrestrians only.Big as the quantity of data that Arecibo gathers every day. So finding a non-human signal is just a question of time. I am a little frightened at the thought of the day when we will find something. But we will get there... it's just a question of time.
Should we broadcast a signal? I don't know. If there are money enough I'd rather enhance the existing listening structure..
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
