Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think it's extremely narrowminded to believe that extraterrestrial life doesn't exist. Because of the size of our universe and the fact that it's always growing and evolving there's gotta be some sort of life out there. I don't know how feasible it is for us to find life out there but I definately wanna help to find it.

In order for humans to evolve such that we have the capabilites of advanced thought, communication, and create/invent such amazing things has happened in such a way that it'd be really hard to duplicate.

I believe that if there's life forms out there it's very possible that they are extremely different from us. Probably don't have eyes/ears/etc... The types of body parts found by creatures on the earth.
