Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
YES! We certainly do believe that there is life on other planets. We are just a very small part of the universe and would be very ignorant to think that we are alone. We believe that they ready to be discovered and believe we have evolved into peace loving beings they will visit us on there own accord.
We feel that alot of people would be fearful and possibly even question religion. They might also want to experiment with any new lifeform and therefore make it very unsafe to show themselves.
Yes humans should send a beacon for others to find. It should include our history,a tape of different musics of the world, and languages, also pics of different races and landscapes,a warning about our more volatile countries ie.Afghanastan and be especially careful of AREA 21.
We should send books on geography.maths, science and an atlas.
We run SETI@home because we want to do our part to help find life and any messages they might be trying to send us.
We think this is a great project and hope many more people get involved.:O)
