Q: Why I run SETI@Home?
A: To participate in a project that may help advance humanity by finding intellignt goodnatured beings. I have not met any here.
Q: What are my views about the SETI project?
A: It's worth having. If we are not going to search for advanced life then let's just forget about the advancement of technology all together and live our lives out like people did in the early 1900's until the earth comes to an end.
Q: Any suggestions?
A: Yes. Can the SETI project also be used to search for large asteroids? I'm no scientist but wouldn't a large asteroid cause disturbances in space that can be detected?
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
