Personal background
I live in eastern Ohio, an Amateur Radio Operator and love anything that has to do with the universe, so the SETI project is very interesting to me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe there must be life somewhere else, even if it's just bacteria of some kind. Some of my religious friends say I'm just a silly girl, but I believe something's out there. :)

What information to send? Difficult to say, but whatever it is, we'll be long gone before we ever personally receive an answer.

I run SETI@home because to me it's such an interesting and historical project to be involved with. I would be completely flabbergasted if it is my computer that processes something worthwhile. It runs 24 hours a day now and I don't even notice it's there. I do check on it now and then.
