I am a 27 year old guy from South-East Queensland, in Australia. I stumbled upon the seti@home site, and decided to get on board. I am now considering taking up astronomy as a hobby. I've already started shopping around for a decent telescope.
I also enjoy cycling, weight-training, and hanging out with friends. I am a Buddhist, and I enjoy meditating. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I am interested in the search for signs of alien intelligence. Besides, what else is my computer doing?
2. I think it's fascinating, but I do have some doubts regarding it's usefulness. By the time we receive a signal from another world (if and when...), that civilization could already be extinct.
3. Is there any indication that we could be evaluating signals gathered from the Southern Hemisphere? |
