Profile: Joanne F Bishop

Personal background

Work as a Purchasing agent with the freedom to search for what ever a customer can dream of. A to Z. Love my job and the people I work with.

Had hard times, both parents died within 6 monthes 20 yeras ago, lost my sister to lack of interest, her side.

Sense of humor, long on. What is life worth without a good laugh!

Do not over dress or give a fig about money. In todays economy that's a plus.

Love long walks on the beach and all that fuzzy, cute stuff, in proper proportions. Too much can give you an itch or at least really bad breath!

I have always loved Science, Astronomy, Biology, Anthropology, Ancient History, Geology, just the wonder of things unknown.

What better way to spend my twilight years? The outdoors and a beautful sunset.
Friends, family, nature in all it's glory.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I can't contribute as a single entity because, frankly I do not have the education. I dropped out in junior year of high school. My father got layed off and I had the only job to contribute to the family larder. Weigh it, eat-education? I chose to work.

My entire life between marriages and child birth has been an interest in the sciences. If I can't participate as a scientist at least I can contribute some PC time.
