Personal background
I'm no longer twenty somthing, and not yet concidered all knowing, i work to
live but i do not live to work, my intrests are as varied as the wavelengths
of energy streaming through the universe, one woman holds my heart tight yet
I am not kept in a zoo. I am content.... I serch for ET's.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The Universe is all about Math... The odds are not in our favor for finding a
signal from other intelligent lifeforms, at least not in my lifetime. The point
to this whole excercise is that we have to start trying something or wait for
something to find us. Our nature as a species to be assertive dictates that the
latter choice is not possible. Possibly it is unfortunate(only linear time will
tell) that the earth is already a screaming beacon for ET's if they are looking,
but maybe it will be or even has been a turn of good fortune for the ever
destructive Human race. I consider myself a part of something greater(to borrow
a phrase) now that i'm a part of the S.E.T.I. project which at the very least
has a few million humans working together, unified in their goal, and agreeing
on at least one simple idea.... it's worth trying to find ET's.
