Born in Caledonia Ontario in 1960, I've moved around quite abit since and am now retired (sort of) and living in Fenelon Falls Ontario. I have a genuine interest in astronomy and would enjoy learning more about this subject. I believe the universe is far too vast an space for we earthlings to be it's only inhabitants. I first heard of SETI 6 or 7 years ago and have had 1 or more of my PC's running it ever since. Others should do the same. Lets put these devices to some real good worth while use while they run idle and do our part by contributing in this manner!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run the SETI program because i do believe that we are not alone in the universe and that some where out there, other beings are struggling to survive on thier worlds just as we are here now, or as we have in the past.
The universe is just so vast an area. It would be unimaginable for me to believe that human-kind are the only tennants of such a huge home.
