Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Like so many others I believe that humans cannot be unique. There are so many stars and galaxies in the sky, that there must be at least one other planet revolving around some other star out there with the properties to support life. Maybe not in the form as on our small blue planet, but life still. As has been proven here on earth life is always up for a challenge and can appear in the strangest and harshest of environments. Man should concentrate its efforts into uniting to search the stars rather than spending it’s time in religious and idealistic warfare, there will come a time when a new breed of pioneers will lead the way into the stars, if only governments would find the strength and will to join together.
