Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think extraterrestrial life exists, and is very difficult for us to discover it now a days but in the future (if we don't destroy ourselfs first!) we w'll find it!!!!
Or it w'll find us.

The dangers in such discovery is that the humans w'll dominate and control it for is own benefit... it's enough to look at ourself's in the past and present to realise that...

I think that the information published in the universe for others to see must be very carefully studied, remember that the "others" probably will act the same as us...(dominate us)...and if they do not... well, then it w'll be a very interesting event, the most advance society will help the other for the benefit of both.
If the society that sees the message is more advanced and willing to dominate us and we publish a lot of critical info about us, they w'll know about our vulnerabilities.
In the other hand if it is less advanced and we don't publish enough info, they w'll be afraid...

I think that the key for this relationships is one thing that we yeat have to accomplish here in earth: mutual respect, tolerance and forgiveness, that will promote our civilazation and knowledge inside and outside our planet.

Each one of us as a role to play in this, al doe is a small part like a termite ant building it's home, all ants work together making possible the life of himself's. We must do our part to achive advanced civilazation, like we do here in the seti@home!!!
