Personal background
I am 18 and currently attending Salisbury University. I like playing guitar but I really enjoy stuff about computers. College seems like it is going to be tough with the classes I pick but I think I can do it. It should be a lot of fun and I can't wait to be on the radio for the school!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
To tell the truth I don't really believe in aliens at all. I am guess I am using this program to try and prove myself wrong. It would be cool for me to find something. It would bring some excitement to my life... I think the program is really cool though. It is just an awsome program to run and it is neat how it utilizes everyone's CPU power. To bring so many people together to try and find one thing, it is kinda inspiring. If we do find something however I think we should purse to the full extent and send just a message of hello at first to see if they respond. We shouldn't let the government screw it up though, so we would have to be careful. The first thing that comes to mind though when I think of aliens is X-Com.... If you ever played that game it really was interesting, you had to fight the alien invasion off and you could start using their technology after a while. It would be good if they where technologically advanced and we could share ideas. I just hope having aliens on the planet isn't like the movie Signs.
