Personal background
I am from Brisbane, Australia and have to go to work in a sec so I'll finnish this later ... Thanks for your patience.

OK, back to it again. Well that was the second of my two jobs I had to go then. My main job is as a store/salesman at an engine reconditioning business in the nearby suburb of Capalaba. Not a glamourous job by any means but it pays the bills. My second job is even less glamourous ... Pizza Delivery guy for Pizza Hut but the extra money helps.

Anyway way a little more about myself besides my work. I am nearly 22 (30/08/01). I enjoy Horse riding, reading (all of a sudden this starting to sound like a personals ad) and playing computer games (Tribes 2 rocks). And i case you are wondering the pic (which i hope is not too big, is my Diamond Sword Scout Armour from Tribes 2)

Well anyway I don't have much of a life so you pretty much know it all now anyway. I'll just say one more thing, if I had of just done what I wanted to do at Uni straight out of high school (Aeronautical Engineering) instead of what i did do (Law & Japanese of all things) which I hated and only did for six months anyway I would probably be building Light Attack helicopters for the Australian Army next year (damn that would be cool). Eh, well I suppose something else will come along, I'll just leave is in His hands.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well I haven't been a Christian that long so I don't know exactly what that means to me just yet about ETI but I do have a theory or two. One: If there is none well then darn if it isn't the greatest waste of space in all time (and that just does not sit well with my understanding of God)
Two: Yes sure the Bible says 7 days but who's to say that He didn't say that to avoid confusion for Moses and Co (excuse my wording there) while it actually did take millions/billions of years or what ever and the universe exists to show us how He did it and for us to, as we advance spiritually and scientifically, look on the Universe and see His works. And after all every time we look at a star however many milion/billion (whatever) light years away are we not looking that far back in the past? I'm sure that if we were to look hard enough we would be ablee to find every part of the universe (suns planets etc, etc) at every stage of creation, development, life and decay and destruction. And after all He put more than one species of life on this planet why would He not put more around the universe? Which I can also assume would also be at varying parts of creation, evolution, life, decay and death (though after that we will be unable to 'see' except by Faith - that part can never change) for us to see and believe.

My apologies to any one who is offended by my beliefs but hey you probably believe in UFO's ;oP

As for SETI@home - hey it sounds cool and I'm just glad to do my part (and actually give my PC somthing useful to do (you know ... aside from games))
