My name is Lenard and I am 54 years old, married to Bente and have 5 children : Soeren 15, Astrid 16, Kasper 18, Mette 19 and Mikael 20 (all ages are as per August 2007). This is the time of life when you have to accept that your children are growing up, getting their wings and "flying from the nest". Astrid and Soeren have just started boarding school (DK = efterskole), Kasper has moved into an appartement, Mikael has a job in another town (and will soon be moving) and Mette will be flying to Bolivia in 2 weeks time for 4 months where she will also visit Argentina.
I have been a Project Manager for the past 23 years but have now moved on to a position as HSE (Health, Safety and Enviroment)Trainer/Teacher ... within the same Company. My hobbies are mainly my family, astronomi, golf (yes you can still have a family and play golf), fishing and a trip to the theater/opera once or twice a year. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Why do I run SETI@home? .... because I would like to make a contribution in searching our vast universe to find any signs of inteligent life forms. My passion is astronomi, and when looking through the telescope, well thoughts start wondering .... what is out there? ..... do I need say more?
The project is great and I will try and persuade some of my closest friends to donate some of their computer capacity in the "search" |
