Long time SETI user. I liked the old freaky screensaver. It made my stoner roommates happy.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI b/c I have idle time on my laptop. I have to run it at low CPU usage otherwise it melts my motherboard (cheapo Dell)
