Personal background
23 year old Student at Queens university Belfast, studying Chemical Engineering. I live in the middle of the country and there is very littl elight pollution. One of my favoutite things to do on a clear evening, is sit in my garden and just look at the sky.

I love the book "The hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and just hope that when we do find ET he's (or she's) as much fun.

In a Universe so vast, it would be incredibly arrogant to think that we were the only intelligent life.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
In a Univese so vast, there is bound to be something (someone) else out there.

I believe that first contact will be made in true star trek style, after we devlop a means of interstellar travel.

Maybe the reason we havn't heard from ET so far is because we're just not interesting enough for them! Or to them we seem like unintelligent creatures.
