Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that SETI at home is a wonderful project and a huge undertaking, but together we can do it! I am running it because of my interest in the universe and would like to help clear one more thing up in it (is there life elsewhere). I know it is a funding issue, but my suggestion would be to figure out another sign or field that we could also be able to search for extraterrestrial life and start a project on that.
