My name is Zach, I live in south Georgia and my computer does not do that much during the week days so I figured that I could help fight a cause without moving from the computer. I am sixteen and I like the idea of finding, even though contact seams pretty unreasonable with the vastness of space and all, but just to know there is life elsewhere is just something that would put violence and hostility to rest and put the universe in scale for us.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home so that just with the little bit I put in there will be new discoveries a little sooner than was previously possible. This project may be mocked by skeptics and frowned upon by rich elitists this could be a valuble tool in finding out the big pithcer of the universe and maybe even life itself.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
