Personal background
Hi my name is Cerys, aged 37..I am from Wales, currently living in Pembrokeshire and studying for a law degree..although I am a qualified ICT Technician..I have recently finished two cycles of the BBC Climate Change Experiment and have wanted to get involved with the SETI project for some time.
I have lots of different interests and hobbies including astronomy, birdwatching and supporting conservation projects..I am a bit of a movie buff and huge Sci-fi fan..
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm running SETI@home because I wanted to be part of the project using my free space on the pc was an ideal way to do this as I had previously done so for the BBC Climate Change Experiment.

I think that the SETI project is important to us all as human beings because as a christian I cannot believe that this vast wondorous universe was created without life on other planets, moons etc apart from earth.. and who knows what that life out there has to teach us!!, especially with the changes we face on our planet from climate change, pollution, war and famine etc...Making contact with others outside our own planet would change the way we see ourselves as a race and as individuals..We are not alone! is the answer to one of the greatest questions man has ever posed....
