Attended west aurora high school, graduated in 2005...
Currently attending Bradley University as a double major in mechanical engineering and theater production.
I am currently using seti@home as my main source of heat in my apartment, but i currently only have enough computers to keep it reasonable down to 20F. anything below 20 or so needs my heater as well.
Its not really costing me any more in power because i have electric heat anyway, so i recommend that others try this too!! |

I run seti at home because everyone else was doing it and my friends kept trying/asking to borg my computer so I created my own account. I now run seti to keep the schools rank up.
I feel seti is a cool project, but I don't see it as the greatest use of processing power. Im gradually adding other projects such as rosetta@home and World Community Grid because I feel that they better serve society. MOOOOO???? |
