Personal background
Hi
I learned of seti@home from Coast2Coast AM w/Art Bell & George Norrie.
Had a seti screen-saver a few years ago (circa 1991)and all was well
until I foolishly dl'd some infected songs from kaza & the old computer
went TU. Was too busy w/family stuff until now and thought it would be fun
to re-up w/seti once again.
I am 60.
I do book-keeping and tax prep.
I have 3 dogs.
I need to get more sleep.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I've got to admit, the really cool screen-saver is such a conversation
starter, I just wanted to be able to run that again.
2. I really believe other life forms are "out there..." and it would be neat
to have a meet & greet communication w/them so long as there's no
"INDEPENDENCE DAY" type of trouble.
3. As Capt Kirk would say, "Mr. Scott, WE NEED MORE POWER TO THE SENSORS!!!"
