I am a retired mainframe computer programmer. I was forced into retirement when the pain from injuries earned while in service to the United States Navy became too great to work.
My family excaped from California in August of 2007 and retired in South West Missouri. (STOCKTON).
I learned of SETI@HOME a few years ago from a past supervisor. SETI is a worthwile endevour.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run SETI@home to assist in the search for extraterristrials, partially due to the fact we cannot be alone in this universe and partially to allow this computer to be put to use when it sits idle.
2. The project does not recieve the respect and help due.
3. Suggestions will be forthcoming when I have a few.
