Hey there. I'm a radio voice guy that lives in Las Vegas, NV. On the side I play music and do stand-up comedy. I also run with the Hash House Harriers (a "drinking group with a running problem.") We have chapters in every city, come run with us and drink booze.
Recently I've become quite interested in all things astronomical. I've been picking up issues of Sky and Telescope at the library and reading the occasional Carl Sagan book. I just started a general astronomy class at the local community college (the classroom is in the planetarium!). I also use binoculars to look at the moon and my neighbors undressing. Kidding.
I've heard about the SETI at home project for years and I finally decided to give it a try. Cheers!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I find it exciting that a giant network of home computers can help solve one of the most burning scientific questions of our time. If we find aliens, I hope my involvement with SETI@Home will put me in their top myspace friends.
