Profile: Terry Vernon

Personal background
I'm very passionate about the universe in which we live. I want to get involved with as many reasearch projects as I can and donate a little of my computing power. Hope to one day own a large dobsonian style telescope of my own. I'm 25 years old and work as a web programmer. I love astronomy and tweaking multi-core computers with linux and BSD operating systems.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI is the beginning step to looking for other civilizations like our own. Soon other arrays will come to be that detect higher energy frequencies than just radio that will also be dedicated to the search for life. I for one want to be a part of it any way I can with my limited means.
