Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
- Nobody have ever proven that we are alone, so why should we be? To be honnest, I don't think we will find anybody. Now why that? - Because when we consider time, the period with SETI is just to small to matter. Perhaps we are the only one's that use radiowaves within the timeperiods that we are recieving. Who knows?

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
-Yes we should have a beacon, and the message should be - "Bring reason, we are running low on everything. We need help... help!"

Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?
- I'm running SETI because I think, that we despite the small chance for success, should try. If we don't try we will never know what we missed?
The idea on running SETI on a global scale is brilliant. In a marketing perspective this is a huge success.
Suggestion to SETI staff - Try to do more for those who are running SETI. Perhaps discount on tickets on space events in the diffrent countries. This would be possible with the right sponsors, since they will get a chance to uncover target groups which they never would have be able to do.
