I think that it is extremely arrogant of us to believe that we are the only intelligent life in the whole universe.
Assuming whoever it is thinks us worthy I would love to be part of the team that finds out that this is wrong, that there are intellagent bein gs out there.
Besides what the World could do with right now is some sort of combined focus off this rock so that we can work together for a common goal. I cannot think of anything better than some form of first contact
