| I am married with 3 grown children. My wife, Laurie, and I currently live In Agusta, Georgia, USA. I am an avid reader of all things science. My love is Astronomy. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Running SETI@home is my small way of contributing to the continuing advancement of pure scientific research and the expansion of human knowledge. The SETI project may never discover hard evidence of extratrerrestrial intelligences but just knowing that there are professional scientists on this planet who would actually devote their lives to proving those intellegences exist is inspiring enough for me. I believe that the creation of the SETI project confirms that our species is not doomed to self destruct, as some would believe, but instead, is capable of looking beyond our myopic concerns to a future that encompasses the entire universe. Hurrah for us! |
