Personal background
Hello, my name is Theo Smits.
In living in the Netherlands and working for Capgemini, a large consulting firm.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
If we are living, why shouldn´t there be other people living in the universe. That´s my opinion on this. Can we find them or can they find us, thats another question. But we should try! As they will try. And someday, we will meet.

Yes, we must keep on submitting information in the universe. It doesn´t interest what kind of information, just a beacon. That´s just the way we are exploring the universe with Seti.

I´m running Seti, to do something usefull with my spare processortime. Many people will say that it is not usefull, but just the fact that so many people are working together is a great thing.

My suggestion to you, SETI team is to open more info on what the results are on the search, on the personal search (what was the score of the unit I explored, and what did that mean) but also how it is placed the the whole range.
