Numbers facinate me. I am not a math person by any stretch of the imagination. Although,I think I understand some of the enormace challenges in the study of the universe and it's complexity. Nobody wants more than I do to understand what's out there.QUESTION! Is their even a slightest chance we are not alone? BOY, would I like to know. Are we clever enough to use existing technology to unravel lifes secrets? Who knows we may be under someone elses microscope.Gees, that gives me the the creeps. This is why I choose seti as a fun way to go and possibly catch a blink from another world.I think that would make my day.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Projects like this are very important to me. The more computing power the more brain power is used to gain important infomation our selves and possibly to learn about other intellegent life forms that may exist.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
