1. Because I honestly want to contribute in the search for extra-terrestrial life.
2. It is great. Watching how scientists and space-explorers argue about who has the most bragging rights using software they refuse to share for the good of mankind, it is projects like S.E.T.I. @ Home, which makes it possible for us worth-less-than-nothing people to actually being able to contribute. If not much, at least a little bit. And as we all know.. every little bit helps.
3. Nothing that I can come up with at the moment, except; Software can ALWAYS be improved and optimized. Huh. What? You already knew that? Oh, sorry then :) |
