Personal background
Hi! I live in downtown Athens and I work as a technical editor for the greek edition of PC World magazine.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As many of my fellow human beings, I am also fascinated by the idea of discovering evidence of extra-terrestrial life and, furthermore, intelligent life forms. I am positively certain that there exist countless galactic civilizations, however the vast intertellar distances and our primitive level of communication prevents us from making First Contact. It is one of my greatest hopes that I will live the day when we encounter another species from a strange new world, even if it means a brief and unintelligible radio signal.
I live in Greece, where the mythological past is filled with tales of super-human beings with immense physical and mental capabilities. Perhaps these enchanting tales have influenced this part of my myself which longs for an encounter with a superior intelligence of such a kind. I hope that my small contribution to SETI, through this project, will help realize this dream.
