Crookidman Creations, Victors studio, is located on his 81/2 acre small ranch outside Red Rock, Texas, where he engages in Art Metals Sculpture, Jewelry, Woodworking, enamaling and more. He and his German Shepherd, Jack Daniel, tend to spend a lot of time wandering the woods and throwing/fetching rocks and balls. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@home because I want to do what I can in the furtherance of the goal of identifying, loocating and, ultimately, communicating with extraterrestrial intelligence.
When I heard about this project, about 5 years ago, I thought: "Now this is a PERFECT use to which to apply the supercomputing power of thousands of individual computers networked together. And, whoever came up with the idea of offering interested individuals in the private sector the opportunity to become involved, in a truly significant way, in the work of SETI and other such projects, had to be a genius." I downloaded and ran the SETI@home program for about a year @ that time, before I crashed that pc, and, I'm overjoyed to be able to rejoin my efforts with yours, at this time. |
