Profile: Brian Ragle

Personal background
What can I really say? I have been an avid seeker among the stars since I was a child, eagerly peering upward and consuming any book about space and space travel. My wife and I have four computers going nearly all the time whether we are at them or not. When deciding what to donate their spare processing power to, I considered Seti@Home first, even above medical research. The reason is in how profoundly the success of the program will impact all of humanity in a single instant. To hear that voice from the heavens would answer a question even older than why we get sick. I want to know that answer and I want to do what I can to achieve it.
