My name is Steven Smith and I originally joined seti@home about 5 years ago. I thought the program had closed down, but the other day stumbled upon it again online. Unfortunately, I was unable to recall my email address and password from so long ago so had to start afresh! Never mind, it all counts anyway :-)
I'm currently investing a lot of my time into fundraising for my forthcoming 5-month voluntary expedition to Belize in Febraury 2007. I'll be spending 2 months working on a conservation project before going to Guatemala for a month to learn Spanish. I'll then return to Belize for the final 2 months to teach children in remote schools. All in all, it's costing me about £4,500 GBP to go (about $7,500 US).
I'm skydiving to raise money for the trip and doing a whole host of other work, including designing and selling T-shirts on my website at www.belize2007.co.uk.
Anyway, enough about that, now I've found seti@home again I'm here to stay - please join the Belizeweb group as it's the only Belize-realted team out there!
