Profile: Chris Landers

Personal background
I'm 29, going on 30 soon, and from Gurnee, IL. I'm an IT Consultant for a major Healthcare Provider, and I've been volunteering computer time to SETI@home for over 10 years.

First got onboard when I was in college, I loaded the old SETI@home client on every computer in the Lab I administrated, and had it work away after hours. Today I let my personal computer crunch away while I'm at work, and while I'm sleeping. Taking full use of my AMD Quadcore, 8GB of RAM and my nVidia 9800GT.

I also have Aspergers, and science and astronomy have always fascinated me, so I feel it's only natural that I volunteer what I can to this project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm a huge fan of this project, and other distributed computing projects as well! I'm fascinated both by the technology and the goals of the project.
