I'm an undergraduate Physics student at Bishop's University in lovely Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada. I've always been interested in astronomy and I'd like to someday have a career in Astrophysics.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I'm running SETI@home because I think it's a cool project. Finding extra-terrestrial life is something worth expending energy on.
2. I think it's a really neat idea to use idle time on people's PCs to process all this info. It's a very efficient system.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
