Hello:)
I live at Eastern Beach in Auckland, New Zealand. I work in a range of engineering related jobs and had a couple of non engineering related businesses as well. Probably the most memorable was 10 years spent designing and building keelers (sail boats in the US I believe)
House architecture has always interested me and I've designed and built our present house as well as the previous two we have had.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Imagine the effect on mankind, when contact is eventualy made! Profound would be a profound understatement:) At last, we might all start to become free of a lot of garbage and hopefully united in our sense of reality. Think of the possibilities!
If there's ANYTHING I can do that increases the chances of that happening in my lifetime, maybe it'll all have been worth it.
A friend, now living in Australia used to say "It'll all be the same in a hundred years Mick" and if SETI@home can make that contact while he and I are still around, I vow I'll fly over, pour him another rum and coke and ask him to say it again. Yeh right!
