My short and sweet profile.
Name is Andrew and I was born and raised in Columbus Ohio and as such I am a college Student at Ohio State and Columbus State Community College. Currently I am working toward a degree in Fire Science/Emergency Medical Service before hitchhiking the world for a while.
I'm an outdoor type of guy which is why I love backpacking, camping and hiking. I'm also into photography and videography, Rugby, SCUBA, books, music and countless other hobbies
I have my 240 Card (Firefighter I & II) as well as my EMT-B card. I work for a private ambulance company and I plan on getting my Paramedic card soon

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI because i want to contribute, albeit in a small way, to the search for life outside of earth (talk about the bragging rights when my computer finds signals from ET, haha) I feel this is necessary because we would be fools not to look... For 90 some odd years we have sent signals of our civilization (TV, Radio, Sonar, Radar, other parts of the Electromagnetic spectrum) out into space... It seems silly not to listen in, to see if another civilization is doing the same as us. |
