I am an amateur astronomer / astrophotographer(thanks to my father)
I am an avid science fiction fan (thanks to my aunt)
I am not a geek (inspite of the certificate)
I currently reside in surrey (not the best of skys)I have a 6" newtonian telescope that I use as often as I can. So when the P.C. is not decoding SETI siginals it is probably working on my astrophoto's
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because eventually our sun will die and the human race will need a new home, If we are able to find intelegent life amongst the stars hopefully we can obtain the knowladge to help us find and reach that new home.
As the universe expands SETI@home must continue to expand with it.
I only have one suggestion at the moment :- Second Star To The Right and Straight On Till Morning.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
