Personal background
I am a graduate of the Great Books/Liberal Studies program at Brock University, with a second major in History. I will begin my Masters degree in Social Justice and Equity Studies at Brock in September. My BA Honours thesis is an historical content analysis about the paradigms surrounding Fred Hoyle's theories of pangenesis.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been interested in SETI since I was a tyke. I have been a teaching assistant in a university course about cosmology called Order and Chaos in the Cosmos for the past three years, as well as Logic and Critical Thinking, and Origins of Life. In other words, my university experience has been directed toward this kind of project. All those courses are part of the Great Books program at my university, so I started the GBLS SETI team.
