1. I've always been curious about extra-terrestrial intelligence and used to run SETI@home all the time at work. I just finished watching "Contact," with Jodie Foster. It reminded me of SETI@home and I decided to install it on my web server.
2. Developing a way to use the world's computers for processing data while they are at rest is simply brilliant.
3. I'm used to the simple screensaver SETI@home client, so I will have to evaluate the BOINC version at a later date. |
