| I am early thirties, i am from Victoria Australia, have been a manager in business and also travelled around Australia, amongst many other things i have done in life, i have changed my life completely so that now i am a student in the arts and am heading towards a degree is sociology, psychology and philosophy. I am interested in the probability as some people are of others living around us, above or below us and am aware that we are probably just plain as day just not smart enough to get what it is they get..i will add to this at a later date. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1:) I run seti at home as i think it will be many years before we as a global community can do anything about things that go on out of the world region, and also that i am more fulfilled as a human to be in association with a worthwhile project,
2:) In my opinion, any other life forms are most likely using technology so far removed to radio waves that it may be futile to attempt listening for some from elsewhere, but there is no harm in trying and making mistakes doing so, as Albert Einstein once said \\\\\\"Anybody who has not made any mistakes, has never tried anything new.\\\\\\"
3:) Is there any chance perse that these beings are not technologically based at all, but are in fact highly advanced beings - so far so that they have no use of transport or technology at all - but are actual being unto themselves.. if this were the case then, lets look at humans for a moment,
We have beta waves, theta waves, delta waves, alfa waves, etc..What if these beings are based in one of these areas for their communication, ot what if they use another wve form all together, i am not convinced that they would be in the same arena as us for their communication or for their transport for that matter, perhaps we should be scanning the airwaves for thought waves..
