I'm a 41 year old mother of three. My son is 17, daughter 14, and youngest daughter 13. I've been very interested in SETI ever since it came about and will help in any way that I can.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
Because I really enjoy the graphics it shows while it's checking packets and who knows? Maybe one day I'll actually find them!
2. What are your views about the project?
I think this is a wonderful project to get my kids involved with science and astronomy.
3. Any suggestions?
This new BOINC software seems fairly "alien" to me (sorry...had to do it), but all in all everything looks great the way it is!
