Personal background
After leaving the Roman empire in 124 A.D., I decided to cross the seas and head west. I ended up living with a tribe in the Pacific Northwest. They were a great group of people. Eventually, the tribe grew to a respectable city/state. Around the turn of the 19th century, our leader, Cheif Sealth, encountered a deceitful group of Americans led by Doc Manard. The tribe wasn't happy, and neither was I, because these Americans were stealing our land. Anyway, the land was eventually taken by the Americans. The territory eventually became a state. I'm still living here now. I became an American citizen in 1903. I've been living in Seattle ever since.

I used to be an antique collector. Of course, I've got some of my original collection from the Roman Empire, and some work I picked up from the Native Americans. My hobbies include traveling, using the ATM machine at the Vatican (it works in Latin!), skiing, visiting with my relatives in England (most of the country is my decendents), and reading philosophy. After I met Mr. Hubble, I became fascintated with Astronomy.

After Bush II got quasi-elected to office in 2000, I decided to go to Law school. I took the accelerated plan and will graduate this May.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I know extraterrestrial life exists. When I was camping in the Nevada desert in 842 AD with a bunch of Navajo indians, we saw a Bjasdxij craft land and they came out and talked to us. They told us that we a feisty little species, but we have alot of work ahead of us if we truly want to understand the universe. The gave us this plant called Hemp and told us to smoke it for true enlightment. We didn't believe them because one of our tribal elders smoked it and died. As a result, we banned hemp and the Americans have wisely followed the same policy ever since.

As to when modern civilizations will discover extraterresterial life, that primarily depends on our level of commitment. Right now, its not looking too good. Since I have met extraterrestrials, I can't say *when* I'll met them because I already have met them. Maybe some day soon, provided that we don't blow ourselves up in the next twenty years.
