Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I ran SETI@home because I wanted to help find intelligent life SOMEWHERE in the universe since it seemed to be an endangered species on the verge of extintion on this planet! Unfortunately, I had a computer crash in 2004 and no money to get another one until my daughter bought me a Dell Diminsion 8400 for Christmas 2004. One of the hard drives went out on it in January 2005 and I lost everything! It took me six months to reconstruct a fair portion of it but I still am missing a lot.

I have the same desire still, now that I have a new computer.
