As at March 2006 I'm 48, working on the south coast of the UK in the town of Poole. Beautiful spot and if we ever get a clear night, lovely starry skies! I'm a devoutee of "APOD" (Astronomy Picture of the Day) and have been 'searching the skies' since I was a lad and was captivated by Star Trek and Star Wars and later, as an 'adult' Star Trek TNG & Voyager! The film Contact (based on Carl Sagan's book) really got me thinking and being a part of SETI is all but a dream come true - to actually contribute to ongoing space research - and for so little effort on my part too!
