Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes, I think ETI exists. Believing otherwise is just stupid and kind of anthropocentric, like believing that everything revolves around the earth. I think that we need to be ending out more beacons--I mean, all we've currently got going is some radio noise that even we couldn't pick up if we were a few light-years away, plus one radio transmission that will take thousands of years to get anywhere and a few space probes that will take even longer.
