My name is Derek Pearce, 48 years old living in sunny Spain.
Always had an interest in both extremes of science - the very big and the very small.
Have been running SETI program almost since its inception but very off and on until recently.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Great idea but all distributed computing is a work of genius
2.Fantastic idea but we could be looking for a needle in a haystack with no idea of what a needle looks like!
3.I would love to see some more feedback on the results even if that feedback is no more than
Nothing yet but lets keep looking.
Of course I many not be looking I the right places for this information.
