I live in NW Ohio and have been interested in the stars for my whole life. I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid, but I fell in love with flying when I took my first flight lesson when I was 16. Needless to say with financial limitations I have not finished getting my license for the past 17 years.... I still love the stars and finally got an 8" Dobsonian telescope and don't get out as much as I would like, but at least the opportunity is there..
I am a paramedic and firefighter here in NW Ohio, and a surgical technician at one of the local hospitals..
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. A) Sounds cool when I can say that at least my computer is part of the SETI program! B) What the heck!
2) I think we won't find anything until we imagine what we think is not poss.
3) None
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
